[ACTION for Route 35]
[It had happened again. By this point, the fact that the Oshawott had fainted wasn't even surprising.
It was almost as if the thing couldn't deal with near-constant training-actually, it didn't seem to enjoy fighting at all. Well, not every Pokemon could be a well-oiled fighting machine Skarmory or Scyther, but this was just frustrating. He'd deliberately tried to avoid having to deal with something like this. He did see something approaching promise there, so it wasn't just something to throw out, but he'd presumably have to beat it into being less terrible.
He (somewhat roughly) nudged the Pokemon with his foot, checking for a reaction, before just recalling it and letting Scyther loose on the now incredibly unfortunate Drowzee. After making quick work of that thing, well, time to head towards the Pokemon Center...]

What do you do if a Pokemon is being generally difficult to train? My other Pokemon have been coming along fairly smoothly, so I'm at a bit of a loss as to why this one isn't. It seems like a bit of a waste to just give up on it, but it's just not very good at fighting.

Don't attack. He's not an enemy.
[Which goes better than one would expect, but Bradley has this bug trained exactly how he wants it.]
Gluttony, you really shouldn't try to walk up and touch Pokemon that are covered in sharp edges. It's impossible to die here, but I have no knowledge of what would happen if you were to lose a limb.
